Share the Ride Statewide
On October 22 - 26, 2007, the Division of Energy coordinated Missouri's first "Share the Ride Statewide" rideshare week, in cooperation with Missouri's rideshare and carpool programs in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield and Mid-Missouri.
The week's activities included events at commuter lots and prize drawings for those participating in and registering for carpools and vanpools. For local information on Share the Ride Statewide activities, visit the websites of our partners:

- St. Louis area - RideFinders, 800-VIP-RIDE
RideFinders operates as a free public service for commuters working in St. Louis City; St. Louis, Franklin, Jefferson, St. Charles Counties in Missouri; and Madison, St. Clair, Monroe Counties in Illinois.
- Springfield area - Carpool Matching Service, 417-831-RIDE
The Ozarks Transportation Organization offers a carpool matching service for the counties of Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade, Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Jasper, LaClede, Lawrence, Ozark, Polk, Stone, Taney, Webster, and Wright.
