Computer/Electronics Recycling List
This is a list of e-cycling businesses that recycle or dispose electronic equipment in Missouri. The list below contains only businesses that have registered with the department's new Voluntary Tiered Registration Program. This list is not intended as an endorsement or warranty to any company or product by or from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
When an e-cycling business registers with the department, they choose to register at one of four levels. As the tier levels increase, so do the amount of regulation the business needs to follow. We note the businesses registration level by the number of “” next to its name. This code will help you choose a recycler at the registration level that best meets your needs.
- Level 1 - This business agreed to recycle as much of their demanufactured electronic material as possible. The department has conduct an Environmental Assistance Visit at the facility.
- Level 2 - This business met all Level 1 requirements and adopted the Missouri e-cycle Standards’, or MOEST, Best Management Practices as its standard operating procedures. The business will complete a yearly Electronics Recovery Host Site Self-Audit Form and the department will make it available in the table below.
- Level 3 - This business met all Level 1 and 2 requirements and demonstrated financial responsibility for closing cost. They do this by entering into a legal contract with another registered e-cycling business or an environmental company to properly close the facility or by showing that they have resources set aside to pay for closure costs, even if they declare bankruptcy.
- Level 4 - This business met all Level 1, 2 and 3 requirements and has either been certified by the department for R2 Resource Recovery or had their Environmental Management System certified by a third party organization.
To learn more about the department's Voluntary Tiered Registration Program, or to register your e-cycling business, please visit the e-cycle Missouri Web site and click on “Register Your E-Business.” If you have any questions about this list or the Voluntary Tiered Registration Program, please contact Dennis Hansen at the Missouri Department of Natural Resource, Hazardous Waste Program, P.O.
