Feb. 20, 2007

Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act (EPCRA) Tier 2 forms are Due March 1, 2007. Facilities covered by EPCRA must submit an emergency and hazardous chemical inventory form covering the previous year to the Local Emergency Planning Committee, the Missouri Emergency Response Commission and the local fire department. Tier 2 reporting is required for facilities with reportable quantities of chemicals and hazardous substances (note: this is not limited to hazardous waste and does include ingredients and finished products). Review EPA's List of Lists document for more information or search the document for your specific chemical.  For information about Missouri's Tier 2 reporting and the Tier 2 Submit software, visit Missouri Emergency Response Commission. If you have any specific Tier 2 questions that are not answered by their Web site, please contact the Missouri Emergency Response Commission at 800-780-1014.  For more information on Tier 2 reporting, visit the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Tier 2 Chemical Inventory Reports
