EPCRA Tier 2 Forms are due March 1, 2010.  Facilities covered by EPCRA must submit an emergency and hazardous chemical inventory form covering the previous year to the Local Emergency Planning Committee, the Missouri Emergency Response Commission, or MERC, and their local fire department.  Tier 2 reporting is required for facilities with reportable quantities of chemicals and hazardous substances (Note:  this is not limited to hazardous waste and does include ingredients and finished products).  Review the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's, or EPA, List of Lists for more information, or search the document for your specific chemical.

For information about Missouri's Tier 2 reporting and the Tier 2 submit software, visit the MERC's website. If you have any specific Tier 2 questions that are not answered by their website, please contact the MERC at 800-780-1014.  For more information on Tier 2 reporting, visit the USEPA's website
