LTS Information and Mapping
The Missouri Deaprtment of Natural Resources' interactive Long-Term Stewardship Map shows the location of long-term stewardship sites in Missouri. The map is intended to make information about activity and use
limitations easily accessible by featuring a summary with links to key documents, such as Letters of Completion and environmental covenants. This information can be used by real estate developers, landowners, lenders, local government officials, community development entities, construction companies, transportation planners, environmental professionals and the general public to inform appropriate property re-use. The map is automatically updated every night.
The Hazardous Waste Program has a variety of programs to address the cleanup of contaminated land and groundwater. The interactive map is being developed in phases as the programs prepare site records for inclusion as new layers in the map. The map currently available for viewing depicts all Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup Program sites, including site cleanups that are active, closed and closed with activity and use limitations. Eventually, the map will contain all of the Hazardous Waste Program’s LTS sites.
Visit the Hazardous Waste Map Gallery to view active and closed sites for programs not yet included in the map.
