97 EPA NPS Management Workshop
The Foundation will sponsor the annual EPA Region VII Nonpoint Source Pollution Management Workshop, "Health Watersheds - Healthy People"
conference for various agencies, project managers, cooperators and educators involved in nonpoint source pollution prevention projects.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Annual EPA Region VII Nonpoint Source Pollution Management Workshop will be held in Columbia, Missouri, during the month of February 1997.Attendance is estimated to be approximately 250 and will target project coordinators, project managers, state and federal agency staff, educators and other citizens who are involved or may become involved in nonpoint source pollution management and its associated outreach.
OBJECTIVES
The theme for the 1997 conference is "Healthy Watersheds - Healthy People" in reference to an emphasis on human health as the primary reason for controlling nonpoint source water pollution.
