The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, approved the TMDL document for the Mississippi River, WBIDs 0001, 1707and 3152, across 16 counties, Clark to Pemiscot county.

- Polychlorinated biphenyls, or PCBs.

- Comments and responses - The department received 4 comment letters during the first public notice period, which was from June 9 to July 9, 2006. As a result of these comments, the document underwent a second public notice, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 29, 2006. No additional comments were received.
