The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, or EPA, approved a permit-in-lieu of a Total Maximum Daily Load, or PIL, for Bynum Creek, WBID 0709, in Callaway County.
303(d)-listed pollutants:
- Non-volatile Suspended Solids (sediment).
To address the listed pollutants, permit limits were adjusted for:
- Total suspended solids.
Additionally, the quarry was required to reconstruct a road crossing and install best management practices to control Stormwater contributions of sediment to the creek.
