Document Preservation Section

This section is responsible for maintaining current documents in the Land Records Repository through contact with all county recorders and county surveyors. County documents are obtained from each county according to a set schedule. The county records are microfilmed or scanned, jacketed, and indexed. We store security copies of the microfilm in the Secretary of State's vault.
