The Lewis and Clark State Office Building, top, stands in contrast to Missouri State Penitentiary's I Hall, which once housed bank robber "Pretty Boy" Floyd. I Hall's architects boasted: "Neither nitroglycerin nor dynamite nor any other explosive could breach the walls of the mighty structure." (Somewhere in Time, Mark S. Schreiber) This underwater photo of the cistern intake, which is now operational, was taken using night vision equipment .
