A small site footprint simplifies plantings of native Missouri grasses in the final landscaping. The loading dock area, pictured in the center, is part of the southwest corner of the west wing. The main second floor entry is now finished in yellow cedar.

The capitol can be seen from the fourth floor atrium.
 
A protective cover has been placed on the hardwood flooring which will remain until after we have moved all the staff.

Not an abstract art photograph but the inside of the recycled chute. Because it extends through all four floors, it has its own fire suppression system. Rob Didrickson, state recycling coordinator, checks out the recycle paper chute contained on all floors.
Final cleanup (main atrium area shown here) is generating quantities of recyclable materials.
