Beggar's tick, also known as beggars lice and stick tights, reaches a height of 3 feet. The plant blooms from Jully to September and has lavender pink flowers. This is the weed that covers your clothing with flat, eye-shaped, clinging seeds when you've been walking in fields or open woods during late summer and fall. Deer browse on this plant and the seeds are eaten by many types of birds.
