Daisy fleabane, sometimes called white-top, reaches a height of 1 to 3 feet. The plant blooms from May to September with white rays and an inner yellow disk. Ancient Europeans believed that the odor of this genus repelled fleas, thus the name fleabane. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. White-tailed deer eat the foliage.
