Giant ragweed a native plant and reaches a height of 2 to 9 feet. The plant flowers from July to September and produces individual flowers that are small and greenish. The plant is found throughout Missouri and is the most abundant member of the genus in this state. It is very prolific and forms huge colonies when left undisturbed.
