Lamb's quarters can reach a height of 5 to 6 feet. Lamb's quarters is also known as pigweed, goosefoot and wild spinach. The flowers are green. Blooms first appear in mid-summer and continue into mid-fall with tiny black seeds. The young parts of this plant can be cooked and eaten as a vegetable.
