Path Rush
Juncus tenuis

Path rush is a native plant reaching .5 to 2 feet in height. The plant blooms from May to September with insignificant, tiny green flowers clustered at or near the stem tips. Path rush is found in weedy locations such as in parking lots, fields, thickets, woods, swamps, pastures and along roadsides and paths. Also called wire grass because of its tough stems.
