Purple rocket is native to the U.S. and reaches a height of 2 to 3 feet. The plant blooms from May to June and can have purple, pink or white colors with four well-separated petals. The flowers are slightly fragrant. This is one of the more unusual members of the Mustard family because it is native, non-weedy and has pale violet flowers.
