- Diversity Training Concept – "How to Train the Trainer" – cultural diversity training for the new employees. Bellwether has not been too good. Use MAC members to train diversity to others, learn how to present and teach diversity. Present idea to executive staff and Mahfood to see if they like it. If MAC teaches it, could MAC get the money Bellwether was getting?
- Deborah, Valerie Johnson and Cheryl Avant – currently help Diversity/Sexual Harassment Training. Deborah, Valerie Johnson and Cheryl Avant – would train MAC members. Require a week-long course, and must pass training. Bellwether training has not been well received, may not have been getting our money’s worth. MAC is serious about diversity, it could help save money and be able to provide refresher courses. Attendees thought this was a good idea and a motion made to approve, seconded and passed to investigate further.
