Land Reclamation Commission meets March 26 in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 23, 2009 -- The Missouri Land Reclamation Commission will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, at the Department of Natural Resources' East Elm Conference Center, 1730 E. Elm St. in Jefferson City.

The commission will discuss mining permitting, reclamation activities and mining enforcement. The commission will also discuss a previously tabled hearing request concerning a permit application for Leo Journagan Construction Company, regarding 160 acres in Taney County.
