JEFFERSON CITY, MO., -- Experience the "Birds of Prey Fly in Montauk" program on Saturday, April 25, at Montauk State Park near Salem. This free program, sponsored by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, will begin at 2 p.m. on the open grassy area between the mill and the lodge.
The World Bird Sanctuary from St. Louis will bring spectacular raptors of Missouri, such as falcons, hawks, owls and vultures, to the park. Get an up-close, personal look at some of the birds and learn fascinating facts about them. You just might feel the breeze of a bird's wing as it flies overhead. Be sure to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on during the program.
Montauk State Park is located 22 miles south of Salem on Highway 119.
