Public invited to share ideas during an informational meeting regarding Pomme de Terre State Park June 19

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., -- In an effort to ensure that the public has input regarding services provided in state parks and historic sites, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting on Friday, June 19 at Pomme de Terre State Park near Hermitage. The informational meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Hermitage area amphitheater and is open to the public.
Recent accomplishments at the park and future plans will be highlighted during the informational meeting. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park's services and operations. The Department recently enhanced lighting in the parking area at the Hermitage area boat launch, which benefits all park visitors.
Pomme de Terre State Park's Hermitage area is located east of Hermitage. Off of Highway 54, turn south onto Highway 254 and travel to Carsons Corner. Continue straight on Highway 64, then turn right at CR 246. Travel one mile, and turn left onto the state park road.
