JEFFERSON CITY, MO. -- In an effort to ensure that the public has an opportunity to provide input regarding services in state parks and historic sites, the Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an open house Saturday, Sept.19, at Graham Cave State Park near Danville. The open house will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at the "welcome tent" located at the park's lower picnic area. The open house will be held in conjunction with the annual Archaeology Day event.
Staff from Graham Cave State Park will be on hand to answer questions concerning the park's recent improvements made to the campground parking pads to eliminate abrupt drop-offs on the site, as well as current operating plans. Information about volunteer opportunities will also be available. The public is invited to share comments and ask questions about the park and its operations.
Persons requiring special services or accommodations to attend the meeting can make arrangements by calling Graham Cave State Park at 573-564-3476 or the Department toll free at 800-334-6946 (voice) or 800-379-2419 (Telecommunications Device for the Deaf).
