Bring your ideas to an informational meeting at Pomme de Terre State Park June 26

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., JUNE 14, 2010 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting on Saturday, June 26, at Pomme de Terre State Park near Hermitage. The informational meeting will be begin at 7 p.m. in the Hermitage area amphitheater and is open to the public.
Recent accomplishments at the park and future plans will be highlighted during the informational meeting. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park’s services and operations, as well as provide comments as the park begins the conceptual development planning process.
This informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure citizens have input on facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.
To reach the area from Highway 54, turn at Hermitage on Hwy. 254 and travel to Carsons Corner. Continue straight on Hwy. 64, and then turn right at CR 246. Travel one mile, and turn left onto the state park road.
