Informational meeting planned for Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site Aug. 31

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., AUG. 23, 2010 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting on Tues., Aug. 31, at Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site near Sedalia. The informational meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the site’s picnic shelter and is open to the public.
Recent accomplishments and future plans at the site will be highlighted during the informational meeting, including drainage repairs around the lodge and the many projects completed by the State Parks Youth Corps. Visitors are invited to share comments on the site’s services and operations.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort to ensure that the public has an opportunity to provide input regarding services provided in state parks and historic sites.
Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site is located seven miles north of Sedalia, off Highway 65 on Bothwell State Park Road in Pettis County.
