WHAT: “How to Make Your Halloween Green” cartoon feature

WHEN: Available for broadcast Oct. 1 through Oct. 31

WHY: A short two-minute animated cartoon is available for Missouri broadcasters to air during the Halloween season featuring green tips to make fall and Halloween celebrations environmentally friendly.

The special animated video “How to Make Your Halloween Green” will also be a featured video during October on the department’s home page at dnr.mo.gov and at youtube.com/missouridnr.  Additional green tips for every occasion are available at dnr.mo.gov/env/swmp/greentips.htm.

The department has a special webpage for media outlets to obtain a high-resolution copy of the video and additional information. Contact the department about using the video for news or specialty programming.
