Informational meeting planned Oct. 19 at Felix Vallé House State Historic Site

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT., 15, 2010 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 19, to discuss issues related to Felix Vallé House State Historic Site in Ste. Genevieve. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the site's Shaw House and the public is invited to attend.
The informational meeting will offer an opportunity for discussions regarding the accomplishments of the previous year, including highlighting projects completed by the State Parks Youth Corps at the site. Staff also will review plans for projects and events scheduled for the coming year. Visitors will be given the opportunity to ask questions and comment on the facilities.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
The Shaw House, part of Felix Vallé House State Historic Site, is located on the corner of Second and Merchant streets in Ste. Genevieve's historic district.
