Public invited to share ideas at an open house Oct. 23 at Sam A. Baker State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., OCT. 15, 2010 – The Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an open house Saturday, Oct. 23, at Sam A. Baker State Park near Patterson. The open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the park's visitor center and the public is invited to attend.
Discussions will be held on current and anticipated construction projects and operational efficiencies. Staff will be available to answer questions. The public is invited to comment on the park and its facilities.
The open house is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure the public has input on facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.
Sam A. Baker State Park is located four miles north of Patterson on Highway 143.
