Public invited to share ideas at informational meeting at Mark Twain State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., OCT. 15, 2010 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources invites you to bring your ideas to an informational meeting on Saturday, Oct. 23 at Mark Twain State Park and State Historic Site near Stoutsville. The meeting will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Mark Twain Birthplace Memorial Shrine museum and is open to the public.
Representatives from the facility will provide information on future plans for the Mark Twain State Park, Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site and Locust Creek Covered Bridge State Historic Site. Visitors are invited to share comments and suggestions about the facility.
The Mark Twain Birthplace Memorial Shrine is located off of Highway U near Florida, Mo.
