Fall Fun event planned Oct. 23 at Wallace State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., OCT. 15, 2010 – Bring your friends and family to a Fall Fun event Oct. 23 at Wallace State Park near Cameron. Sponsored by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, the event will take place from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the park’s enclosed shelter and the public is invited.

The event will feature a nature display of snakes, owls, spiders and more. “Find the Frog” (a trail hiking adventure) and a guided hike on Rocky Ford Trail will get you into the outdoors. The evening will end with Halloween storytelling around the campfire with free refreshments and drawings for prizes. Everyone that brings a jack-o-lantern also will be given a prize.
