WHO:  Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

WHAT: Public meeting to be held on tannery sludge field study.

WHEN:  Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE:  St. Joseph City Hall council chamber, located on the third floor of City Hall, 1100 Frederick Ave. in St. Joseph.

WHY: Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will host a public meeting to discuss the report and results of the sampling of a northwest Missouri tannery’s wastewater sludge on farms fields.  The doors will open at 5:30 p.m. to allow the public an opportunity to ask questions one-on-one of staff from the departments of Natural Resources and Health and Senior Services, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Formal presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a question and answer session.
