Land Reclamation Commission to meet March 24 in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI, MARCH 22, 2011-- The Missouri Land Reclamation Commission will meet at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 24, in the Nightingale Creek Conference Room inside the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Lewis and Clark State Office Building, located at 1101 Riverside Dr. in Jefferson City.
The commission will discuss mining permitting, reclamation activities and mining enforcement. The commission will also discuss a hearing request regarding the proposed permit expansion for Hilty Quarries – at the South Quarry Site located in Benton County, consisting of an additional 355-acre mine plan boundary.
