Informational meeting planned June 11 for Grand Gulf State Park

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 1, 2011- - The public is invited to attend an informational meeting June 11 to discuss issues related to Grand Gulf State Park near Thayer. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. at the park’s picnic area. After the meeting, a tour will be conducted around the park to discuss the past improvements and future projects.
Representatives from the park will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park and its facilities.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
