Informational meeting planned Aug. 13 for Harry S Truman Birthplace State Historic Site

JEFFERSON CITY, MO., AUG. 8, 2011 - The public is invited to an informational meeting Aug. 13 to discuss issues related to the Harry S Truman Birthplace State Historic Site in Lamar as well as Battle of Carthage State Historic Site and Osage Village State Historic Site. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. at Harry S Truman Birthplace office and the public is invited to attend.
Staff will give a brief presentation about progress at the sites and discuss future plans. Visitors are invited to share comments.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort to ensure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
Harry S Truman Birthplace State Historic Site is located at 1009 Truman in Lamar.
