Missouri State Parks hosts informational meeting Aug. 27 at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and Historic Site

The public is invited to bring their ideas to an informational meeting Monday, Aug. 27 at Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site near Lawson. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the informational meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the visitor center and museum.
During the meeting, staff will discuss recent accomplishments and future plans, including proposed additional improvements to the bicycle and walking trail. Visitors are invited to share comments on the facility’s services and operations.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure citizens have input on facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.
Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site is located off Interstate 35, seven miles east of Kearney, off Highway 92 on Highway RA.
