Missouri State Parks hosts Artifact Road Show Sept. 15 at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site

Do you have an artifact and always wondered what it was? Now you can bring it to the Artifact Road Show Saturday, Sept. 15 at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site in Lexington.
Steve Wilson and John Peterson, historians from Fort Osage National Historic Site in Sibley, will be at the site to identify the artifacts and archaeological objects you bring. The event, sponsored by Missouri State Parks, will give you the opportunity to learn more about the prehistoric and historic materials you have and why they may be important.
