Missouri State Parks hosts informational meeting Oct. 13 for Katy Trail State Park

The public is invited to bring their ideas and comments to an informational meeting Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Katy Trail State Park depot in Hartsburg. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the informational meeting will address issues related to Katy Trail State Park with an emphasis on the section from Portland to Boonville. The meeting, which will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, will be held in conjunction with the annual Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival.
Recent accomplishments and future plans will be highlighted during the informational meeting. Staff will be on hand to provide information and the public is invited to share any comments or ideas.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure the public has input on services provided in Missouri state parks and historic sites.
The Katy depot is located along the Katy Trail in Hartsburg.
