Enjoy May Day activities at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site May 3

Jefferson City, Mo. - Celebrate the beginning of spring at the Battle of Lexington State Historic Site with a May Day event on Saturday, May 3. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the event is free and open to the public and begins at 1 p.m. The May Day event will feature Victorian-era pastimes, including Maypole decorating, basket making and games.

The Battle of Lexington State Historic Site is located on 110 Delaware Street in Lexington. For information on the event, call the site at 660-259-4654.
