Informational meeting at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site Oct. 16

Jefferson City, Mo. - The public is invited to bring their ideas to an informational meeting at Battle of Lexington State Historic Site on Thursday, Oct. 16 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the site’s visitor center.

Representatives from the historic site will be on hand to gather input from interested citizens regarding the conceptual development plan, which is the long-range development plan for the site. Comments will be accepted online from Oct. 16-31 at http://mostateparks.com/park/battle-lexington-state-historic-site.

Accomplishments and information on future plans for the facility will also be discussed. Visitors are invited to share feedback and suggestions about the site’s services and operations. This informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure citizens have input regarding the facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.

The Battle of Lexington State Historic Site is located on 1101 Delaware Street in Lexington, Mo.
