Fall Fun Event at Wallace State Park Oct. 18

Jefferson City, Mo. - The public is invited to join in the fun at Wallace State Park near Cameron on Saturday, Oct. 18, for the annual Fall Fun Event. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the event begins at 10 a.m. at the campground amphitheater.

This year’s activities include, “Find the Pumpkin,” a trail hiking adventure that challenges hikers to find hidden pumpkins on the trails for prizes. Visitors can also view a live birds of prey presentation by Operation Wildlife at 2 p.m. In the evening, there will be a double feature movie presentation of “Spiders: A Life with Silk” and “Owls of Missouri,” beginning at 7 p.m.

Wallace State Park is located seven miles south of Cameron on Highway 121. From Interstate 35, take Exit 48, go south on Highway 69 for one-half mile, and then take Highway 121 for one mile to park entrance.
