Department of Natural Resources issues construction permit for solid waste processing facility in Jackson County

Jefferson City, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has issued a construction permit for Solvent Recovery, LLC to construct a transfer station in Kansas City to store, consolidate and transfer solid wastes. The transfer station would be an addition to the company’s existing hazardous waste processing facility located at 716 Mulberry St. in Kansas City. Upon completion of construction, an operating permit must be issued to the facility before operations may begin.
The department reviews all applications to ensure the facilities are properly designed and constructed to be protective of human health and the environment in accordance with Missouri laws and regulations.
