Enjoy Halloween activities at Wallace State Park Oct. 25

Jefferson City, Mo. - The public is invited to join in the fun at Wallace State Park on Saturday, Oct. 25 at the annual Halloween Campsite Decorating and Pumpkin Carving Contest. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the pumpkin contest will be held at the amphitheater at 7 p.m.

Campers will be able to transform their campsite with lights and decorations of the season. Guests can bring their best jack-o-lantern to the Campground Amphitheater for judging at 7 p.m. Prizes will be awarded and treats will be available. Visitors are also encouraged to walk through the campgrounds to view campsite displays. All park programs are free and open to the public.

Wallace State Park is located seven miles south of Cameron on Highway 121. From Interstate 35, take Exit 48, go south on Highway 69 for one-half mile, and then take Highway 121 for one mile to park entrance.
