WHO: The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will host a ribbon cutting and dedication at the new Lewis and Clark State Office Building.

WHAT: The soon-to-be completed Lewis and Clark State Office building will serve as the new home to several offices within the Department of Natural Resources. The 120,000-square-foot building features several elements of sustainable design. Officials hope the new building will serve as an educational tool for the public on the importance of sustainable design, also sometimes known as green building due to the fact that it promotes building in harmony with nature and the environment.

WHEN: 10 a.m. Oct. 25

WHERE: The Lewis and Clark State Office Building is located at 1101 Riverside Dr. Travel East from the Missouri State Capitol Building on East Capitol Avenue past the Missouri State Penitentiary. Continue on East Capitol Avenue, past the International Shoe Company factory building, and veer left at the fork in the road. Drive up the hill to the left and take a left into State Surplus Property on Riverside Drive. Follow Riverside Drive and proceed to the building.
