INFORMATIONAL MEETING TO BE HELD

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 20, 2005 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting on Saturday, Oct. 1 to discuss issues related to Roaring River State Park near Cassville. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Emory Melton Inn and Conference Center at the park and the public is invited.

Agenda items for the meeting include streambank improvements, staff changes, wastewater improvements and cabin renovations. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park and its facilities.
This meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure that the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.

Roaring River State Park is located seven miles south of Cassville on Highway 112 in Barry County.
