JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 23, 2005 --The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has awarded a grant in the amount of $51,000 to Howell County Public Water Supply District #3 to construct a new deep well, standpipe and 33 miles of distribution lines that will allow 100 new customers to have access to safe, clean drinking water.

Additional funding will be provided by the U. S. Department of Agriculture-Rural Development and the Missouri Department of Economic Development's Community Development Block Grant Program.
