JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 3, 2005- - The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting on Saturday, Oct. 15, to discuss issues related to Grand Gulf State Park near Thayer. The meeting will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park and the public is invited.
Representatives from the park will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share comments on the park and its facilities. Refreshments will be served.
The informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
Grand Gulf State Park is located six miles west of Thayer on Highway W.
