JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 17, 2005 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting on Saturday, Oct. 29, to discuss issues related to Bennett Spring State Park near Lebanon. The meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the park's nature center and the public is invited.
Representatives from the park will present an overview of the park and its resources and discuss upcoming projects and improvements made over the past year. After the presentation, there will be a question-and-answer session. The public is invited to share comments on the park and its services. Refreshment will be served.
The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the Department of Natural Resources to ensure that the public has input on facilities and services provided in state parks and historic sites.
Bennett Spring State Park is located 12 miles west of Lebanon on Highway 64.
