JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 14, 2006 -- The Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) are inviting the public to review and offer written comments on a proposal for the University of Missouri -- St. Louis (UMSL).
The state of Missouri owns and operates the UMSL campus located at 8001 Natural Bridge Road in St. Louis. The university stored hazardous waste at the Dangerous Chemicals Storage Building and other collection areas on campus. Various departments on campus produced the hazardous waste.
