JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 14, 2006 -- The Missouri Small Business Compliance Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2006 at Fred Weber, Inc., 2320 Creve Coeur Mill Rd., Maryland Heights, MO 63043.

Agenda items will include a discussion of streambank stabilization, ombudsman activities, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) small business assistance program evaluation criteria, and an update on the current focus of EPA's Small Business Division. There will also be a presentation of future environmental regulations that will impact small business at the national level, time for public comment and correspondence, and an update of legislation, regulations and other activities will follow.
