JEFFERSON CITY, MO., MAY 13, 2008 -- The Missouri Department of Natural Resources will hold an informational meeting Saturday, May 24, at Knob Noster State Park near Knob Noster. The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. at the park's amphitheater and is open to the public.
Representatives from the park will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. Visitors are invited to ask questions and share comments on the park. In case of inclement weather, the meeting will be held in the visitor center.
The meeting is part of an ongoing effort by the department to ensure that the public has input on services provided in state parks and historic sites.
Knob Noster State Park is located near Knob Noster, one mile south of Highway 50 on Highway 23. People needing special services or accommodations to attend the meeting can make arrangements by calling the park at 660-563-2463 or the department toll free at 800-334-6946 (voice) or
