Water Protection Program
Welcome
Welcome to the Water Protection Program. Our
goal is to keep you informed about the status of water quality
throughout the state. You'll find current information regarding
watershed management and monitoring, laws, rules, standards, financial
assistance opportunities, permits and engineering and compliance
and enforcement for all of our Public Drinking Water and Water
Pollution Control efforts and more.
What's New
Use Attainability Analysis: The Missouri Department of Natural Resources needs your help! We are asking Missourian's to tell us how they use their local waterways. If a waterbody is used for recreation, the department will take that information into consideration when issuing permits and monitoring the quality of the water. It will also ensure recreational uses, such as swimming, that exist are protected in state regulation. More...
