The purpose of this proposed rule amendment is to properly incorporate references into the rule (i.e., ASTM Standards), remove unnecessary language, improve rule clarity, remove pre-notification requirements for grouting geothermal wells less than 200 feet in depth that are not grouted full-length, and add tracer wire requirements. The rulemaking is necessary to comply with the administrative requirements for rules under Chapter 536, RSMo, and to incorporate tracer wire requirements per the approval of the Well Installation Board. For additional details please see the rulemaking report.
